The World's Finest Military Gets Record 'No' Votes for Hagel's Defense Post.

  • 58-41 a near record close vote. A show of no confidence.
  • Israel now accepts the fact that the U.S. is not an ally.
  • Senator Rand Paul voted for Hagel. I Wonder why?
  • Hagel has let on in the past that the U.S. is a bully.
More information from BREITBART- BIG GOVERNMENT by Joel B. Pollak.
Aside from its effects on policy at the Pentagon, where Hagel will start his job with a diminished stature, the enduring legacy of the Hagel confirmation fight will likely be increased division between the two parties on Israel policy. Many of Hagel's professed views about Israel would, until very recently, have been unacceptable to Democrats as well as Republicans. Yet during the Obama era, and under the influence of left-wing groups within the party, Democrats have shifted significantly on the issue.  - See more at: http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2013/02/26/Hagel-Confirmed-as-Secretary-of-Defense-Record-Number-of-No-Votes#sthash.ToraG96i.dpuf

In his confirmation hearings before the Senate Armed Services Committee, Hagel seemed to validate his critics' concerns with a surprisingly poor performance that led to new questions about his competence to lead the Pentagon. Hagel's many supporters in the media leapt to his defense against his Senate interlocutors, such as Ted Cruz (R-TX), a freshman Tea Party-supported Senator who questioned Hagel aggressively in the hearing - See more at: http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2013/02/26/Hagel-Confirmed-as-Secretary-of-Defense-Record-Number-of-No-Votes#sthash.egQhjitN.dpuf

A Black History Month Problem Not to Celebrate: HIV More Prevalent With Blacks.

  • You have to be sick to perform the gay sex act.
  • A few minutes, and you will live a shortened life.
  • You play, you pay.
  • Then go on to infect many; some unaware of it.
  • To knowingly infect others.
  • They should be punished severely.

Hard Times In the U.S. Trenton New Jersey Library Rationing Toilet Paper.

  • What do they do with the books?
  • Tear out some pages?
  • How many sheets per reader?
  • I remember some Hollywood starlet saying one sheet is enough.
  • Free computer usage, but no toilet paper.
  • What's more important; doing the paper work right, or saving toilet paper?
  • Unbelievable.

Sunday Psalm and Prayer

Psalm 1

Blessed is the man
Who walks not in the counsel
   of the ungodly,
Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;
But his delight is in the law of the Lord,
And in His law he meditates day and
   night.
He shall be like a tree
Planted by the rivers of water,
That brings forth its fruit in its season,
Whose leaf also shall not wither;
And whatever he does shall prosper.

The ungodly are not so,

But are like the chaff which the wind drives
   away.
Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the
   judgement.
Nor sinners in the congregation of the
   righteous.
For the Lord knows the way of the
   righteous,
But the way of the ungodly shall perish.
New King James Version

Prayer of Saint Francis of Assisi

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.

Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
and where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek

to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive;
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Amen

In Los Angeles CA, Thousands Have Been Exposed to Deadly TB. Illegal Aliens Are Not Screened.

  • At one time the disease was eliminated from the United States.
  • Officials say more than 4,500 may carry the disease.
  • So many untruths reported these days.
  • Los Angeles Times has not reported on this?
  • Who can we believe?
  • Obama lies to us everyday.
  • Hundreds of Mexicans crossing our southern border daily without screening, what do you expect?
  • Being humane has it's price.
  • Illegals working in high exposure places, such as restaurants, markets, swap meets, etc.
  • Just a thought today.

27,000 Missing In Mexico. Were Arrested but Never Seen Again.

  • Do not travel in Mexico!
  • You go to jail and then disappear.
  • I am not shocked.
An excerpt the news report.
In many cases, these detentions occur in victims’ homes, in front of family members; in others, they take place at security checkpoints, at workplaces or in public venues, such as bars,” the report says. “When victims’ relatives inquire about detainees’ whereabouts at the headquarters of security forces and public prosecutors’ offices, they are told that the detentions never took place.”
Adding to the agony of family members, the prosecutors who are asked to investigate routinely blame the victims, suggesting that they had connections to organized crime or simply ran off for romantic liaisons, the report says. Then they tell the families to conduct searches on their own, sloughing off investigative responsibilities.
  • Mexicans must live in fear.
  • No wonder we have 20 million or more illegal aliens in the United States.

Greek Strikers Defy Austerity and Bring Chaos. Will the EU Bail Them Again?

  • Have been bailed out twice.
  • They (the unions) believe the EU will do it again.
  • It may be that the EU finds it a losing cause.
  • In a normal household, if you are spending more than your income, you cut back.
  • Is it the nature of the Greek people to be dependent on others?

Detroit Nearing Financial Emergency. $327 Million Deficit.

  • City Hall cannot manage.
  • Pensions should be the first target.
  • Cut government workers' pensions and benefits to the same level as non government workers.
  • Have you ever seen the video clips of all the abandoned factories and homes? A shocker!
  • Much of the city has been turned into farmland.
  • Saddening.
  • Maybe I should have pity for those who have to live there, but cannot bring it on.
  • They allowed the condition.

Incoming Meteorites: What to Do?

  • Send a missile to blast them into small pieces, allowing them to burn up through atmosphere.
  • Or with larger meteorites, send space ship up to nudge it away.
  • I read this somewhere but unable to find the article to give credit.
  • Have not read anything this week with that type of solution.
  • Just a thought.

President's Day. How Many Americans Know What Presidents Being Honored?

  • Most of us know it is Washington and Lincoln.
  • I would like to see a poll.
  • The dimwits that voted for Obama , might think it is his day!
  • Holidays changed to have a long weekend, not to remember our greatest presidents.
  • Disgusting.
  • We have a special day to honor Martin Luther King's birthday.
  • I would think General MacArthur,  or General of the Armies John "Blackjack' Pershing would rate much more than Martin Luther King.
  • Many don't know, but General MacArthur received the highest honor, the Congressional Medal of Honor.
Just some thoughts for today.

On the Night of Benghazi Attack, President Obama Made No Phone Calls.

  • Four valiant Americans fighting for us, left to die. Disgraceful!
  • No one asks about the 30 American survivors who were moved out, never to be seen or heard from again. Very strange.
  • The 30 survivors certainly would have interesting information about what happened.
  • So many involved in this, you would think someone would come forward.
  • Then we have North Korea and Iran ready to nuke us.
  • Leadership we need, but where is it?
  • We have to pray for our great US of A.

Obamacare Costs Have Hit Businesses and Now State Governments Are Cutting Employee Hours Also.

  • This will hit Obama voters the most.
  • Will they cut back police and firemen?
  • Will the Obama voters know what's happening to them?
  • Media will not feature this news.
  • Free health care, appears to be another lie.
