Your Excellency Pope: Pause Before Commenting.
Slow down.
Pray for the right words.
Take a break.
How do you know what's in a person's heart?

Sunday Prayer
A Prayer for Courage
Lord God,
you have called your servants
to venture of which
we cannot see the ending,
by paths as yet untrodden,
through perils unknown.
Give us faith
to go out with good courage,
not knowing where we go,
but only that
your hand is leading us
and your love supporting us;
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen

NY Governor Orders Homeless to Find Shelter
Only If the temperature goes below freezing.
What if the homeless don't obey?
The order sent out by what media?
The homeless "Town Crier", that's the only one they have.
Just another thought: Is it legal?
Just some thoughts

Loving God
Above All Things
O God, who hast prepared for them that love thee
such good things as pass man's understanding:
pour into our hearts such love toward thee,
that we, loving thee above all things,
may obain thy promises,
which exceed all that we can desire;
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

A New Year Begins
THE YEAR'S AT THE SPRING
The year's at the spring
And the day's at the morn;
Morning's seven;
The hillside's dew-pearled;
The lark's on the wing;
The snail's on the thorn:
God's in his heaven-
All's right with the world!
Robert Browning

The Longest Night
Winter Nights
Now the winter nights enlarge
The number of their hours,
And clouds their storms discharge
Upon the airy towers.
Let now the chimneys blaze,
And cups o'erflow with wine,
Let well-tuned words amaze
With harmony divine.
Now yellow waxen lights
Shall wait on honey Love,
While youthful revels, masks, and courtly sights
Sleep's leaden spells remove.
This time doth well dispense
With lovers' long discourse.
Much speech hath some defence
Though beauty no remorse.
All do not all things well:
Some measures comely tread,
Some knotted riddles tell,
Some poems smoothly read.
The Summer hath his joys,
And Winter his delights.
Though Love and all his pleasures are but toys,
They shorten tedious nights.

Sunday Prayer
God's Strength and Protection
O God, who knowest us to be set
in the midst of so many and great dangers,
that by reason of the frailty of our nature
we cannot always stand upright:
grant to us such strength and protection,
as may support us in all dangers,
and carry us through all temptations;
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

What's the test?
Hopefully all Muslims do not want to murder us.

California High Speed Train Stalled?
If everyone knew the truth about this Choo-Choo train, it wouldn’t even got a start on the onset. Nationally, people are wising up and hooking up with a leader that will not accept paybacks to get into the White House. We need a leader like that for California. Little by little we get stuff piled on us; and our voices are muffled to this point and it is too late. It is like the familiar story; “the frog in the comforting simmering warm water pan till it gets too hot and it cannot jump out.” We are there today. God help us.
