L.A. Schools Plan to Make Ds a Passing Grade.It's True!

• The writer, Steve Lopez gives the idea a F.
• The schools should be raising the bar, not lowering it.
• They can't have them flunking and staying in school forever.
• What about those that pass with an A, will that be reclassified as A++?
• The more they try to push them through, and can get into Jr. College, they will have to take special classes to actually get started into Jr. College.
• At least, if you can get two years of Jr. College, you should be able read and write and fill out your own employment application. Sarcasm complete.
