Obamacare: State Exchanges, A Source for Insurance, Three Major Insurers Are Not Participating.

King Obama, will just order them to participate.

He can also offer tax breaks.

The whole thing will eventually collapse.

A major provider here in California is Kaiser,  has not dropped out.

Has a $5 co-pay for many of its members.

An alternative, is go the Philippines or India when a major expense occurs.

What major lobby has a stake in the Republican lawmakers? The Republicans could defund it if they would ignore the lobbyists.

Just some thoughts for the day.

Blackout In India: 300 Million Without Power.

  • U.S. blackout lasted weeks.
  • India restored power within hours.
  • No news reported about heat exhaustion fatalities.
  • For being the second largest populated country in the world, an impressive recovery.
An excerpt from the news story,
Shinde blamed the outage on an incident near Agra, the home of the Taj Mahal, without giving details. He said repairs were being carried out fast compared to a similar grid outage in the United States four years ago.

"In 2008, there was a power failure in the USA. Their Federal Energy Regulatory Commission asked India for assistance and it took four days to restore the power," he told reporters.

India suffers a peak hour power deficit of about 10 percent. It has been made worse this year by a weak monsoon, driving demand from farmers pumping more water from wells.

Who Trusts Obama?

  • Americans don't trust anyone in Washington. November 2012 will show that.
  • Obama has not openly stated any support for Israel.
  • Are we or are we not going to support Israel? Nothing decisive is heard.
  • Obama has left Poland, Britain, India and Egypt, naming some, who have been treated by Obama in a manner to lead to distrust.
An excerpt from the report,
He added that trust that the US means what it says can be strengthened through declarative statements, by setting out a clear time line or by spelling out in greater detail what will actually happen if the military option is implemented.
Doubt about the US resolve, by the way, is not only in Israel’s mind, but also – at least according to Strategic Affairs Minister Moshe Ya’alon – in the minds of the Iranians. For if the Iranians did indeed believe that the US and the West were hell-bent on stopping their nuclear program, regardless of how high this would raise the price of oil, then Tehran’s leaders would have stopped the program by now, opting for regime survival over nuclear capability.

  • So there have been no declarative statements coming out of the White House about policy.
Another troubling excerpt,
Robert Blackwill, who worked on the US National Security Council under George W.
Bush and described himself as a rock-ribbed Republican, said there was another matter complicating the trust, namely the poor state of relations between Obama and Netanyahu.
“It is common knowledge that the Israeli prime minister and the American president don’t like each other very much. And that worries me,” he said.

  • With that going on, who knows what will happen. Hopefully November 2012 will start a final resolution.

U.S. State Dept. Has Accused India of Corruption and Human Rights Problems.

  • Is the U.S. free of corruption?
  • We should clean our house before making accusations.
  • To name a few nations that would rate a closer examination, that would be Mexico, Russia, most Muslim ruled nations and China.
  • Why is the State Department selecting India?
  • What happened to the United Nations? I thought they were the guardians of the world.
