Engine Fire Likely Causing Recall of 475K GM Cruz Cars.

• These are new cars and are having fluid leaks?
• I have owned many cars over 50 years, have never had any fluid leaks.
• The article reports that manual transmissions might be worn out, a three year old car, unbelievable!
• GM =General Motors, also known as,  Government Motors and Union made.
• Fluid dripping on a catch shield, so now they remove the shield and allow the fluid to drip on the pavement. The purpose of the shield was to trap the dripping.
• Has our ever watchful  EPA OK'd this remedy? 
• A sarcasm remark follows: EPA may not be concerned due to the fact the oil on the pavement is not burning.
• Shouldn't GM fix the leak?
