Chicago Murders Up: During Memorial Weekend, 10 Fatalities. Gang Wars?

  • Gangs, exterminating themselves? Is this a good sign?
  • Chicago, one of several major U.S. cities out of control.
  • If this trend continues, gangs will rule these cities, like the drug lords rule in Mexico.

America's Polish Friends Insulted by Obama's Insensitivity and Ignorance.

  • Hard to believe that more than 50 percent voted for Obama.
From the Powerline article,
Jake Tapper reports that President Obama offended our Polish friends with his reference to a “Polish death camp” in his remarks yesterday awarding Jan Karski the Presidential Medal of Freedom. (The Nazi death camp, incidentally, would have been Belzec.) Karski was the incredibly brave courier who brought the West word of the Holocaust in 1942. Karski emigrated to the United States, earned a Ph.D. at Georgetown after the war and taught at the Georgetown School of Foreign Service. He died an American citizen in 2000.
  • Obama, Nobel Prize winner, unbelievable!
  • Strange that he would insult the Polish, where Chicago, Obama's hometown, has a large Polish population.

3.4 Million In 10 Years Left New York, Due to High Taxes.

The same outpouring from California has been going on for years. Most go to Texas.

Refer next to a portion of the report,
California is also known for more onerous taxes and regulations, and the foundation shows similar trends of migration from there to other states like Texas and Arizona.
The Tax Foundation ranked the Golden State sixth highest in the nation for state and local tax burden in 2009.
Between 2000 and 2010, the most recent data available, 551,914 people left California for Texas, taking $14.3 billion in income.  Texas has no state income tax or estate tax.
  • How soon will the fleeing leftists infect the receiving state with their Socialist ideas?
  • It has already happened to Oregon, Colorado and Washington State.
  • Perhaps many more would leave California, if they could unload their undervalued property.

Iran's New Worry: Powerful Cyber Weapon 'Flame'.

  • Russian Kaspersky a well known virus detection group, revealed the 'Flame', why them and why now?
  • Publicity? Kaspersky is already known as effective in detection.
  • Why reveal it? Probably has been known, and no secret for some time.
  • It would seem to be effective in dealing with these virus creators, is to not let them know how much you know about them.
  • I think Israel has created it, like Stuxnet, hitting Iran effectively, Israels' enemy.
  • When the hostility breaks out, Iran will be shut down.
  • Just a thought.

MEMORIAL DAY

In Flanders Fields
By: Lieutenant Colonel John McCrae, MD (1872-1918)
Canadian Army
In Flanders Fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

Sunday Psalm and Prayer

Psalm 1

Blessed is the man
Who walks not in the counsel
   of the ungodly,
Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;
But his delight is in the law of the Lord,
And in His law he meditates day and
   night.
He shall be like a tree
Planted by the rivers of water,
That brings forth its fruit in its season,
Whose leaf also shall not wither;
And whatever he does shall prosper.

The ungodly are not so,
But are like the chaff which the wind drives
   away.
Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the
   judgement.
Nor sinners in the congregation of the
   righteous.
For the Lord knows the way of the
   righteous,
But the way of the ungodly shall perish.

New King James Version

Prayer of Saint Francis of Assisi

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
and where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive;
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Amen

Senate Candidate Warren, Maintains That Her Indian Ancestry Is True.

  • So what! Does American Indian ancestry make you a better candidate?
  • She is caught in a lie, and she should admit it and get out of the the race.
  • She is stupid to even defend, when she cannot prove it.
  • So she got through Harvard getting passing grades because she was a minority. Shame!
  • Now she wants to be a U.S. Senator.
  • In Massachusetts, it might happen.
An excerpt from the report,
“And does it include Indian background?” one reporter asked, according to the first report by masslive.com that was aired on several local Boston TV stations..
“Yes! Yes!” Warren said.
“How do you know that?”
Warren answered, “Because my mother told me so. This is how I live. My mother, my grandmother, my family. This is my family.
  • She is an embarrassment to her party, friends and family.

U.S. State Dept. Has Accused India of Corruption and Human Rights Problems.

  • Is the U.S. free of corruption?
  • We should clean our house before making accusations.
  • To name a few nations that would rate a closer examination, that would be Mexico, Russia, most Muslim ruled nations and China.
  • Why is the State Department selecting India?
  • What happened to the United Nations? I thought they were the guardians of the world.

A Free Cuba Has Taken Too Long; Says Gov. Romney On Cuban Independence Day.

  • Fifty years ago they won it and now do not have it.
  • A lesson for the U.S.?
  • We, the U.S. allowed this inhumane Castro in power for this long, and we just stand by.
  • Shame!
  • The Cubans in Miami today and everyday are celebrating their own Independence.
Romney's remarks from the article.
Today is a recognition of freedom’s triumph, but it’s also a sobering reminder that over 50 years of Cuba’s history have been lost to the tyranny of the Castro regime.
Since Castro took power, the Cuban people have been denied basic human freedoms. No freedom of religion, no freedom of the press, no political freedom. And the regime uses brutality and violence to suppress these freedoms and impose its will.
 However, in Latin America, there are other brutal regimes in power.
