The Bill
Poe's H.R. 2199, introduced last year, would apply a simple remedy to get foreign countries to repatriate their criminals: Diplomatic visas would not be issued to countries that refuse to repatriate criminals who have been ordered out of the United States.
The bill would require the Department of Homeland Security to produce a quarterly list of foreign criminals in the United States and the countries that refuse to take them back. The bill would also require the State Department to refuse diplomatic visas to those countries. The countries would get the visas when they take back their criminals.

• California's crowded prisons with a large illegal alien population, being ordered by Fed. Judge to release or remedy the situation. Californians should be relieved that the crowding can be resolved  by deporting. Some estimates for California, that it is around 30% of the prisoners are illegal.

• If no revelations in some departments, call in the professionals. Offer a percentage payment for helpful finds.
• The news a few weeks back revealed that the State Parks Service had a hidden stash of $52 million in their account and had the nerve to make appeals for more funds, threatening to close parks!

We need the Executive Branch to order an internal audit and ascertain where the special funds (over 30% of General Fund) are being spent.  The first step in finding a solution is to define the problem.  The problem is not funding, it is executive management.
Rather than taxing Californians again; a more responsible solution is to adopt some budget-balancing regulatory and job-creating reforms that our Latino small business community has offered for consideration, such as relaxing workplace scheduling rules to match those in most other states, or cutting the sales tax on the purchase of manufacturing equipment. These are simple changes that would make California more competitive and perhaps stem the flow of companies fleeing our harsh business climate.

The problem with this audit, is that it needs the order from Governor Brown (He is the administrator) to order the audit and have the rock turning begin. That would take a courageous Governor Brown.

• You would think Toyota learned from that.
• 113 miles on full charge. If a  Los Angeles citizen wants to drive to Las Vegas(many do), 325 mile trip, with 2 recharges which takes 6 hours each, assuming there are recharge stations available, normal driving time is 6 hours plus 12 hours waiting for recharges, would be 18 hours total elapsed time versus the 6 hour trip with a gas engine.
• Apparently the car is only for short trips.
• You must make sure you recharge every day when you get home to be sure you do not get stuck with a dead battery. It is not the same as running out of gas. Remember, you have to wait 6 hours for recharge.
• Be worried when blackouts and brownouts occur, which may be more frequent caused by President Obama's closing the coal fired power plants.
• Have on hand a gas powered generator for the power shut downs.
• 113 mile range, will be greatly diminished when air conditioning and heater are utilized.
• Freezing climate diminishes battery efficiency.
• Replacement battery, may cost you $10,000.
• How much to dispose the battery?
• There are many gas and diesel  powered automobiles today that can give you 30 to 40 miles per gallon.

$76,000 Spent for Each Minimum Wage Job Funded by U.S. Tax Dollar.

• Senator Coburn (R-OK) reported this waste.
• This waste is standard government seep down policy; it goes through overhead, top heavy supervisory staff, self auditing and other various departments.
• Why not just mail out the billions to all of us taxpayers and we could spend it immediately anyway we want;  this cash going into retail stores, new cars, furniture, travel, etc. This would jump start the economy, rather than slow it down with government programs.

California City of Compton May Go Bankrupt, With More Cities to Follow.

• Compton will be out of cash by September.
• Do bond holders get paid off?
• How about vendors and utilities getting paid?
• It may be that the whole Golden State of California may go under as well.
• If you have services for the state, best you work with cash in advance.

Here is a list from the article of some more possible cities in the Golden State that may go broke as well.

It’s a safe bet to add Montebello and Victorville to the list. Moreover, some of the big guns will eventually go under as well.
Unsound pension problems will be the death of many cities. I consider Oakland and LA to be sure things. It’s just a matter of time.
Delays in filing will only waste more taxpayer money. Eventually cities will catch on and there will be a flood of bankruptcies.

A city in Pennsylvania had the same problem, the mayor put everyone on minimum wage.

• Already they have problems running Medicare, Medicaid, Post Office, Amtrak, Agriculture, and so forth.
