Immigration Bill Takes Jobs From Our Youth; Complains Senator Sanders. Three of Ten American Youths Need Jobs Now!

  • Does the senator from Vermont really care?
  • He will vote with the Gang of Eight anyway,
  • He is a liberal, go figure.
  • Anyway, our youth are to good or lazy to make beds, mop and sweep floors, clean tables, pick lettuce, mow lawns, clean houses, care for the handicapped or elderly, and so forth.
  • The parents should order them to do these type of jobs or move out!
  • These are the kind of jobs where you start up the ladder; if you have some ambition.
  • The Texting Generation, This is what Rush Limbaugh calls them.
  • How appropriate.
  • You see them texting on the street corner, not talking, just texting, oblivious to surroundings.
  • Can it be they are texting each other? Might be.

Chicago's Father's Day Slaughter, 33 Shot, 6 Dead.

  • Gun control has failed, the murderers have the guns.
  • Good law abiding folks are defenseless.
  • The Democrat Dream Society, shame on them!.
  • It's all about illicit drugs, that never ending war against drugs.
  • What's needed, is the famous community organizer, Obama, to come back home and apply his skills.
  • Are the Chicago authorities afraid to apply harsh measures due to a racial backlash?
  • We have never read about any arrests.
  • These are murders,  in a normal society, by now there should be some on trial facing the death sentence.

Only One In Four Americans Trust Newspapers Reports Gallup.

  • So perhaps they just read the sports pages.
  • Where do the ones that care find the truth?
  • Breitbart, Rush Limbaugh, and Drudge to name the most noteworthy, is where many that care are turning for news and commentary.
  • Would advertisers stay with newspapers knowing it is not putting out trustworthy information?
  • Respected conservative blogs have readers in the millions.

Britain and Scotland's Wind Energy Industry Subsidy Can Reach 1.3 Million Pounds for Each Job.

  • When private investors avoid this industry, this should be a clue to the government.
  • Only government with taxpayers money and no risk for their spending.
  • Here in the US we still have wind farms, but no private investors willing to take the risk.
  • Was this to create jobs or find cheaper electricity?
  • The news article stresses creation of jobs.
Here is an excerpt from the news report,
Wind farms are controversial not only because of the cost, but also because of claims that the turbines, which can be more than 400ft high, are ruining the countryside. Campaigners have said the planning system remains loaded in favour of developers and that too little of the countryside is protected from their spread.
Earlier this month David Cameron signalled that local people would have more say over wind farms in their areas. Developers would have to offer much greater compensation for building them, and planners will be compelled to take into account their visual impact and the views of locals.

  • With the technology we have today, surly other schemes can be developed to create cheap and clean energy.
  • Petroleum is most abundant all over the world.
  • Work on ways to further develop to provide a cleaner and cheaper energy source for everyone.

Sunday Psalm and Prayer

Psalm 1
Blessed is the man
Who walks not in the counsel
   of the ungodly,
Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;
But his delight is in the law of the Lord,
And in His law he meditates day and
   night.
He shall be like a tree
Planted by the rivers of water,
That brings forth its fruit in its season,
Whose leaf also shall not wither;
And whatever he does shall prosper.

The ungodly are not so,

But are like the chaff which the wind drives
   away.
Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the
   judgement.
Nor sinners in the congregation of the
   righteous.
For the Lord knows the way of the
   righteous,
But the way of the ungodly shall perish.
New King James Version

Prayer of Saint Francis of Assisi

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.

Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
and where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek

to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive;
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Amen

Detroit On the Verge of Bankruptcy; the City Will Not Pay Their Debts In Full.

  • Detroit's problem, not ours.
  •  Sorry, bailout is not forthcoming.
  • Most Americans will say no bailout, but..
  • Obama will change all of that. He has the power.
  • Unions are a major factor in this corrupt city.
  • Glaring proof that Socialism never succeeds.
  • What's the next city to go bankrupt?

Never Ending War On Christianity Increases In a Christian U.S.A.

  • Senator Rand Paul says there is a war!
  • He spoke today at the Faith and Freedom Coalition luncheon.
  • A serious Christian contender for the president.
An excerpt from the report,
Senator Rand Paul's Remarks below:

Last year in Pakistan, 14-year-old Malala Yousafzai was shot in the head by the Taliban for being a girl and for wanting to go to school.

If you haven’t seen the YouTube videow of Malala being interviewed on national television, speaking out for the education of girls, watch and you will be amazed at her poise and grace.

Malala never met the great Urdu poet Parveen Shakir, who grew up in Pakistan when women could become highly educated and even Prime Minister.
This line from one of Shakir's poems reminds me of Malala:

"They insist upon evaluating the firefly in daylight. The children of our age, have grown clever."

Why would anyone want to kill this innocent young girl? Because Malala, in her young life, insisted on exposing the firefly to daylight.

Her "crime," as seen by the Taliban, is to believe in enlightenment, to believe that out of the darkness a flicker of tolerance can glow and grow to overcome ignorance.

Americans are seen by Pakistanis as infidels and invaders. We will not in a thousand years bring enlightenment to Pakistan, only Pakistan can do that.

  • The United States is supporting Satan.
  • Does anybody know or care?
  • God will not be defied!
