How does Mexico's economy and employment take precedence over U.S. workers?

General Motors is U.S. citizen taxpayer owned!

What's the union's position on this?

The unions have invested in GM with their dues.

The message appears to be that investment in American union labor is a bad investment.

• No Volt Batteries ever produced.
• Wise shoppers will not buy an electric car.
• 40 miles on a charge.
• Who would per $40K for that?
• Charge your battery, takes 4 or more hours. 
• What if there is a brown out?
• With air-conditioning or heater on, will you still get 40 miles to a charge?
• With the coal fired power grids that Obama is shutting down, electricity costs will skyrocket.

 An excerpt from the article;  

“Electric car batteries do not perform much better than they did 100 years ago," he said. "Research has not conquered the battery storage issue, and therefore the electric transportation ‘stimulus’ did not boost the ‘technology of the future,’ but instead a century-old technology as far as performance and capability goes.”

• Government operations never succeed, such as Amtrak, Post Office, etc.
