I live here in southern California and have yet to see a black male do grass cutting. Too demeaning I have to presume.
Mexicans do it , can afford all the equipment, some drive new Ford F150's. They prosper doing hard honest labor.
55 years ago the Japanese were doing the gardening. Now they own gardening stores, hotels, motels,and so on.
Young black males knowing no skills- minimum wage is for you, if you can sell yourself.
If you look trustworthy, you could do house windows at $1.00 a window x 10 windows and get a route of 50 houses for every month, you could earn $500 a month. All you need is glass cleaner and paper towels and of course the will.
