More Than Half of Workers Delay Retirement Plans. Its the Obama Delayed Retirement Plan.

Every one on us dreams and makes plans for that great day.

It's not that they like their work that much.

How many of these 60 year workers voted for Obama?

Watching the 401K dropping to 30 to 40 per cent and now the Imperial White House mentioning that they may delay social security payments.

Kind of scary.

An excerpt from the report:

Though a roughly equal share of survey participants reported feeling secure about retirement savings as feeling anxious, a significant minority gave signs of financial stress: One in 6 reported having less than $1,000 in retirement savings and 1 in 4 working respondents aren't saving for retirement outside of Social Security. Some 12 percent of unretired people reported borrowing from a 401(k) or other retirement plan in the past year. Though 29 percent reported at least $100,000 in savings, some find even that's not enough.

Also take into consideration, the workers staying on and not retiring ; that keeps the younger workers out longer.

     Just some thoughts for today.
