Not surprised by that information, just disgusted.

We pay more for less, and it will not stop with the present leadership.

Congress established this over-payment years ago.

Congress allowed government unions.

Government unions bargain with their bosses, who will cave in to any demand.

Because the unions support them at election time with hefty campaign contributions.

How to cure this corruption?

Term limits and control of lobbies, during the politicians' term and after he terms out.
