Thousands Honor Sgt. First Class Shue as His Remains Come Home From Laos.

Welcome home. Rest in peace.
I am heartened by the crowd to honor our hero.
I choked up today reading about this remembrance by so many.
From the Salisbury Post this segment.
For the Salisbury Post
Sons of the Dark and Bloody Ground
Ye must not slumber there,
Where stranger steps and tongues resound
Along the heedless air.
Your own proud land’s heroic soil
Shall be your fitter grave;
She claims from war his richest spoil --
The ashes of her brave.
— Theodore O’Hara
1847 Excerpted from “Bivouac of the Dead”
You must read how our nation has not forgotten their heroes at this link at the Salisbury Post by Joanie Morris.
