The President wanted to speak on the same night of the Republican Debate. Has been on schedule for months.
Does the President want Republicans to listen to his speech? Appears he does not care.
The Speaker Boehner respectfully offered Sept. 8, the following night.
The Speaker explained in his letter that he does not have the time to prepare for it anyway.
It will be interesting how this develops.
